Fill out the inquiry form and share a few details about your ideal session.
I’ll follow up with availability and next steps. If it’s a good fit, we’ll get your session on the calendar.

Once you’re booked, we'll choose a date, location, and direction for your session.
As your session gets closer, I’ll check in on outfits, timing, and any final details so everything feels clear going into it.

I’ll guide you through the entire session so you don’t have to think about what to do.
You’ll walk away with high-quality images that feel like you and are actually well done.

Session Day
01 | What is the turnaround time?
Wedding galleries have a 3-5 week turn around time depending on the season. All other sessions are delivered within 10-17 days.
02 | What do I wear?
The two biggest things I mention to clients for “what to wear” questions are to wear things that are comfortable (the most important), and to style your family to compliment eachother, not match.
Natural fibers and earthy tones work well with pops of color and texture.
03 | Will you recommend locations?
Yes! I have multiple recommendations local To Boise as well as Mountain View’s near Bogus Basin, Cascade, and Stanley. (Locations 35 miles outside of Boise do not include travel expenses).
04 | What is your shooting style?
I describe myself as creating lifestyle images; directing with purposeful prompts and keeping the “vibes” positive, balanced with trying to observe and maintain a families natural state.
05 | How far in advance do I book?
For busy seasons (April-June and mid August-late October) I recommend booking 6-8 weeks ahead of time, especially for those seeking weekend availability.

Emalee captured so many special moments at our small backyard wedding. We got to see moments we didn't even know were happening and candid moments that we'll treasure always. When it came to planning, my husband and I felt that our photos were one of the most important aspects of the day, and Emalee blew us away. Emalee is a lovely human who knows what she's doing and does it extremely well. Somehow she managed to capture the essence of all 8 of us despite ranging in age from 7 to 80. There was a 15 year old girl who will forever be grateful that she was documented looking this good. There was a 7 year old who wouldn't smile, I didn't do a good job following the rules, the 80 year old has trouble walking and and and... she nailed it and made us look great. We got over 100 photos and can't even begin to figure which ones we'll print. We might just have to buy bigger houses so we have more wall space.
