Emalee is an absolute dream to work with! We’ve had the privilege of taking family photos with her for the past 3 years and it’s a tradition we hope to continue for many seasons to come. She’s a true professional with the ability to capture sweet, candid moments in a way that feels so fun, easy, & natural. We always end up laughing until the point of tears in each of our sessions with her! And her lighting — nobody captures golden hour quite like she can. It’s pretty magical. Honestly, she is such a gem of a human being with incredible talent and I can’t recommend her enough!

Emalee is second to none as a photographer. Year after year, her skilled eye and gift for storytelling shines through in the photos she captures of our family. I’m never able to do a mini shoot with her, as I always want every single image she captures! The way she freezes time & celebrates the beauty of the seasons my kid’s are in…well it’s heartbreakingly precious. Her photographs of our family are some of my dearest possessions. What she captured whent above & beyond our expectations
Emalee captured so many special moments at our small backyard wedding. We got to see moments we didn't even know were happening and candid moments that we'll treasure always. When it came to planning, my husband and I felt that our photos were one of the most important aspects of the day, and Emalee blew us away. Not only is she fun to be around, but we felt so comfortable and at peace depending on her throughout the celebrations.
What she captured went above and beyond our expectations. Each photo is art, and so far, we can't pick a favorite. We value her expertise and her ability to direct us for portraits as well as wiggly, large groups :).

Somehow she managed to capture the essence of all 8 of us
Emalee is a lovely human who knows what she's doing and does it extremely well. Somehow she managed to capture the essence of all 8 of us despite ranging in age from 7 to 80. There was a 15 year old girl who will forever be grateful that she was documented looking this good. There was a 7 year old who wouldn't smile, I didn't do a good job following the rules, the 80 year old has trouble walking and and and... she nailed it and made us look great. We got over 100 photos and can't even begin to figure which ones we'll print. We might just have to buy bigger houses so we have more wall space.
